I will have to say, out all the projects I've done throughout the years, this one is probably the one that shows some of my best work in more personal-centered projects. This project is called the "Values Video." Values are a person's principles and judgement on what is important in life. With that being said, in this project, you choose one value, such as community or happiness, and create a video that demonstrates why you find that particular value important, and where you see it in your life. For this project, the value I chose was friendship because it is a value that I see so much in my life. Friends have been a very big part of my life, especially this year. As explained in the video, in September of 2016, I joined LVSL, which is leadership youth group. The people in the group have quickly become some of my closest friends, and I was truly able to see what it was like to have people there to support me in everything I did. Working on this video really let me reflect and see how I prioritize friendship over other things.

Unlike some of the other projects I've done before, this one was rather simple because everything that I wanted say was already in front of me; I just had to put it all together. This project shows another side of how I present my work. With many of the projects that I do, I do it because I have to (not going to lie here), not because I want to, but I was very motivated to put my best work into this. In addition to that, since this project was more on the personal side, it was nice to be able to open up and show a piece of my life that makes me happy. Through this project, I was able to work on telling a story in a short amount of time, as well as use experiences from real life to really grasp the audience's attention. The values video is something that I am really proud of, and I'm glad I was able to have a project like this.
