Sally's E- Portfolio

     Something that I have accomplished in Social Studies is "Africa Advertisement Project." In this project, you work for a travel agency, and have to pick a region of Africa and design an advertisement for that region, in order to persuade people to come visit the area one day. The region I picked is Southern Africa because there are many fascinating things about the area, and there are many amazing sites to see, such as the Cape Floral Kingdom and Victoria Falls. Working on this advertisement was very fun because I was able to customize it and make it my own.

One of the hardest things on the project was not finding the information, but putting together the information into paragraphs that were not too long, and would catch the reader's attention. It took about three tries until I finally was able to fit all the information I had into two paragraphs, but I really like the end result of the advertisement.

     This project shows my accomplishments in persuation, design, and advertisement. This advertisement reflects on my abilitiy to persuade people, and I think that I have done a good job on this advertisement. We have done many projects which involve advertising something, and I feel like I have not improved as much, but this project has showed me that I have improved a lot on thi skill. Overall, this advertisement project really let me bring out my creativity, but also adverting skills.
